Document Scanner by Pwn with your Phone is a premier document scanning and sharing solution for Android based phones. It allows on-the-go users to quickly “scan” documents with their phone camera, enhance and convert the images to PDF files, and then share or store these documents using Box as well as many other file sharing and storage services.

The application includes cropping and perspective correction. If the picture of that document got taken at an angle- no problem! The app will select the four corner points of the document (with manual adjustment possible as well) and correct that image. It will also automatically crop at those points to reduce the file size. Users can also adjust the grayscale as desired or convert the document to black and white.

The use of Box as a sharing solution from within Document Scanner enhances user productivity and can dramatically shorten business contact and interaction cycle with customers and the back-office. Users can scan medical reports for their doctors visit, use it when on business travel, use it for scanning receipts, for school/college projects…and the list goes on and on. Students can use it to take notes: just scan the whiteboard and save for later! Also great for realtors and lawyers!

To use Document Scanner with Box, simply create your PDF document and then click on the Box logo to upload the document to your Box account.
