Asset Bank is a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system used by organizations all over the world to store, manage and easily share their images, videos, documents and any other digital files with staff and partners.

Asset Bank can be hosted on a local disk, SAN or in the cloud via a number of different cloud storage providers, including Box.

Benefits for existing Box users:

If you already have Box then Asset Bank can add DAM capabilities on top of your existing Box account. You can use Box to store all your Assets. You don’t have to pay Asset Bank or another provider (such as Amazon S3) for storage.

Box deals with backups so you can feel confident your source files are safe (Asset Bank does this for other storage options if required).

If necessary you can go directly to Box to obtain the files in your Digital Asset Management system.

Within Asset Bank, assets can be added to one or more hierarchical categories (a bit like folders). Asset Bank will also use this category structure to create folders in Box, when storing the asset source files, to make it easy for a user to browse the files from Box if necessary.

Integrating Box with Asset Bank:

Integrating with Box is easy for a user with administrator rights - you just configure a new 'Storage Device' for Box:
